Several kinds of incinerators are designed and manufactured by KASRAVAND as follows:

  • STATIC INCINERATORS for the incineration of gaseous, liquid and solid wastes
  • ROTARY INCINERATORS for the incineration of solid waste
  • MULTIPLE HEARTH INCINERATORS for the incineration of sludge

STATIC INCINERATORS FOR GASEOUS AND LIQUID WASTES- Static incinerators for gaseous wastes consist usually of a vertical cylindrical chamber internally lined by refractory material with alumina content which varies with the type of waste to be burnt.

Main applications:

  • Gas and liquid waste of oil and petrochemical industries
  • Polluted gas and liquid streams
  • Solvents and paintings

STATIC INCINERATORS FOR SOLID WASTES- The static incinerator for solid wastes is essentially used for the burning of small quantities of wastes (max 200 kg/h) particularly in the field of hospital wastes.

The incinerator, composed by three chambers laid one upon the other two, is package type, ready to be assembled and connected with the utilities and ready to be started-up.

The system is composed by three chambers:

  • Primary chamber
  • Secondary chamber with the grate
  • Post-combustion chamber

The incinerator consists of:

Solid waste ram feeding system, automatic type, and oleo dynamically operated.

Primary combustion chamber, internally lined with insulating and refractory material provided with:

- Air distribution system with nozzles in stainless steel

- Connections for thermocouples and burners; peep holes

- Waste charging door.

Secondary combustion chamber, internally lined with refractory and insulating material, provided with:

- Grate, moving bars type, automatically and oleodinamically operated

- Inspection door with safety quick locking device and sealing strip

Post-combustion chamber composed of a reaction chamber plus the properly said post combustor.

It is internally lined with insulating and refractory material and is provided with peephole, inspection door, and connections for burner and thermocouples.

ROTARY INCINERATORS FOR SOLID WASTE (up to 80 t/d) - consists of:

- Incinerators: The rotary incinerator consists principally of a revolving cylinder inside lined with refractory materials slightly inclined to the horizontal and supported by two riding rings resting on two trunnion rolls.

The cylinder is rotated by means of a girth gear, meshing with a spur pinion mounted on the slow speed shaft of a speed reducer. The incinerator speed variation is regulated by a frequency variator.

In function of the type of waste to be burnt, in a wide range of temperature (from approx 800 °C to 1100 °C).

The incinerator operates under excess air conditions to allow the perfect combustion of various constituents.

- Post combustion chamber: The volatile products (flue gases with gaseous unburnt organic compounds and particulates) resulting from the thermal process occurring in the rotary chamber, are drawn into the Post-Combustion Chamber for a further oxidation.

-Flue gas treatment system: consists of: flue gas cooling system, pollutant removal system

-Ash removal

 Main applications:

- Hazardous and non-hazardous industrial solid wastes;

- Hospital wastes.

MULTIPLE HEARTH INCINERATORS- consists of a vertical cylindrical shell lined with refractory which encloses a series of horizontal circular hearths.

Main applications:

- Incineration of chemical and biological sludge

- Incineration of refinery sludge

- Activated carbon regeneration

- Foundry sands regeneration
